Omelettes are versatile for breakfast and quick to make, almost any filling can be added to make it scrumptious and filling.

Basic omelette, let your imagination go for a filling.

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml Milk
  • Pinch salt

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml Milk
  • Pinch salt
Instructions
  1. Separate the eggs, beat the egg white till stiff, beat the egg yolks till lemon colour, add milk, salt.
  2. Fold egg whites into yolks.
  3. Heat frying pan, pour mix into pan, cook over slow heat.
  4. Cook until button is golden brown then flip.
  5. Fill omelette with your choice of a filling or leave it just as is.
  6. Serve warm.

Fill you omelette with any one of the below.

Choice Filling:

Cheese: sprinkle grated cheese on omelette before folding

Biltong: sprinkle grated biltong before folding

Ham, chicken or other cooked meats: mince or shred meat and sprinkle on before folding

Mushroom,cheese,chives: sprinkle mixture just before folding

Savoury mince: sprinkle filling before folding
